不太曉得光緒和太后的糾葛，長年禁錮，據知和有為啓超嗣同有關，年輕有為的他「不甘作亡國之君」提倡維新變法，卻敗於慈禧的戊戌政變，而被囚禁瀛台。在這斷瓦下，雙手抱膝，愁思哀傷，心境悲愴而終止于屈辱和哀怨的一生。
